In 2023
and possibly well into 2024 and beyond, aluminum die cast products are expected
to reach record highs. Due to the 2019 pandemic, many manufacturers were
adversely affected by a supply chain crisis. For at least two years, many of
them were unable to source parts and raw materials, so they either scaled back
or halted production. The demand for aluminum die cast parts across industries
is bound to increase as economies recover and supply chain challenges subside.
According
to industry statistics, die cast parts will experience a medium-term boom due
to the ever-growing electrical auto manufacturing, construction, electronics,
and industrial machinery industries. According to Mordor Intelligence, aluminum
still dominates the die casting market, mainly due to its lightweight and low
cost.
